Rachelle Copeland is the founder and owner of Porte Lux. Rachelle graduated with a BA in Fashion Merchandising and a Minor in Marketing. She was an executive at multiple private label handbag/accessory companies and was responsible for design, product development, sourcing and sales. Rachelle became an entrepreneur in 2005 when she co-founded Alexis Hudson, a contemporary handbag brand that was sold at high-end department stores and boutiques worldwide. Her handbags were worn by celebrities and fashion icons alike. Rachelle founded Porte Lux in 2013, returning to her private label handbag and accessory roots. Rachelle’s many years in the handbag and accessory world, has helped her cultivate strong partnerships with manufacturers, material suppliers and others in the industry. These partnerships help Rachelle succeed in meeting her customer's needs with leather and textile development, print, design, value engineering, manufacturing and on-time delivery. Rachelle cultivates long lasting relationships with all of her customers and strategically helps them meet their goals and increase growth and profit.
